VISION
I believe “Vision without action is just a dream. Action without vision merely wastes time. Vision coupled with action can make things happen!” I have my future goal that I want to be a great financial consultant, to have a good family relationship and maintain a good healthy body. In order to make those dreams come true, I think I have to work hard in the school and get a degree in order to make it easier to get a job. My friend has recommended that I go and listen to a finance group meeting. That is just a group of people who come from various business fields and gather together in this group. They tell others what they did and explain how to succeed in their own business fields. My relationship with my family is fine and I hope I can keep it up in the future as well. As far as health is concerned, I think everyone should have a good body in order for them to work, play, and enjoy their life. So I will eat well and keep my body in a healthy way.

Baruch College has several mentoring program, I wonder if you have ever try it before? I have never have any mentor before and I am trying it for the first time. I agree, health is very important.
Nice to hear about your vision of your future. I can see you have three goals set that you want to achieve: financial consultant, happy family, and a healthy body. I'm pretty sure that must have been trying to make all three of them true. In reality, we have a very limited amount of time that we to allocate to alot of things we consider relevant. Unless you are very good at time management I wouldn't say it is going to be an easy task to accomplish all three of the goals fully. Sometime, in near future you will have to be precise about which one of these goals you want to achieve the most. Or else you will have to wait and see which one you actually end up achieving. Because in life, you don't always get all that you want. It's better to understand this cruel reality as soon as possible. Be precise about what you want to do. Ask yourself, will you be able to give up some of your family life to make your life as a consultant a success. Will you have time to manage your family and work, also a healthy body all at one time? If not, how far can you come to make a compromise? Hopefully, you understand my point and good luck achieving your vision about future.
Well, I agree with what you had said and I think the life that you want is quit simple and it is a common sense to have those kinds of life. People love to have a healthy, happy life for the rest of their life. As long as you graduated from college, everything will be okay and you already half way away from your dream/goal. Remember we have always to keep a pleased mind in our mind; this will make us feel happier when struggle to reach our dream. Also, we have to realize that we already luckier than most people in the rest of the world.
i have same feeling that we should all have a good relationship with family, not only concern about our own successes...without family, they will be meaningless...i wish your dream will all come true..however, you should apply with your action...hehe keep up girl...
Are you really a vegetarian or you are pretending that you are not ^^, I agree good health is the fundamental for doing any other activities. I would like to know how you maintain health in your own way. (I just recovered from a serious flu, I hated it...such a suffering, good thing is that it happens once a year. Yeah, i count it -_-)
About the major and major related jobs, I think your situation is a little like mine, need to have experience, and start as soon as possible.
Hey sit in a room with a bunch of finance people and I think you might fall asleep pretty quickly. Allowing yourself to learn from others success is a great tool towards getting ahead. Use Baruch for everything your able to, I don't always find that they reach out to help their students find easy paths of communication, but they are there.
I agree with Mike. Finance sounds boring and probably is. Additionally, many of Baruch College's student services are somewhat rubbish.
Life can be just really simple, having a good job, having a good family, and being healthy. I am pursuing this kind of simple life too.
